Chop into yourself terribly. Do maximum damage ignoring armour. Do a 4D6 Critical on yourself.

Hit your own shield. Save vs. crushing blow or it is destroyed. Re-roll here if no shield.

You slip and fall banging head. Unconscious for D4 times 10 minutes.

A massive blow misses altogether. Roll to attack nearest ally at +4. If there is no one around, treat this as an 11.

Fall back and land heavily. Randomly select a breakable item you are carrying. It must save vs. crushing blow or be destroyed. Now treat as 7.

Swing and miss and fall to the ground. No attacks for 2 rounds. DV to zero or –4 whichever is worse.
